When Ultron was first introduce, it was mysteriously disguised as leader of Masters of Evil, referring to him self as Crimson Cowl. He bribed the Avengers’ butler Jarvis and gained the information about Avengers layer. As his minions captured the Avengers, the Crimson Crowl’s robot identity was revealed. Then it was revealed that in fact Jarvis was behind all this, but after that it was revealed that originally Jarvis was under mind control and actually Ultron was behind all this. Ridding him self from the disguise Ultron 5 the living automaton itself and ordered its man to kill Jarvis now that he had served his purposed. But Jarvis some how survived in order to tell what happened to a hero called Black Knight, and he must save the team who were being held within an H-bomb meant to blow up Manhattan. After freeing the team together they stopped the bomb and discover that Ultron was not there an watching all this from the secondary location. After his plan was foiled Ultron pledged to find other ways to kill the Avengers team.
In the wake of this events the amnesiac mysterious andriod known as Vision began to recall his own origins. As it turned out he was crated by Ultron 5 to destroy his new found friends (Avengers), during the fight with his comrades Vision struggled to regain control of his base program. When he decided to confront Ultron 5 he defeated his creator, as Ultron ran towards him and he phase shifted leading Ultron passing through him and hitting with volatile electrodes, Ultron blew apart. Despite what appeared to be his total destruction Ulron’s head was recovered from the scene. Soon origins of Ultron were finally revealed when Henry Pym decided to search his own back up electronic memory bank, there he discovered something that he somehow forgotten that years before he had created a synthetic life form called Ultron 1, instantly hostile the sentient machine had subdued Pym and decided to eliminate mankind. However instead of killing his creator it erased his memories of event and began upgrading itself. Following this Ultron returned with his surviving head, having used mental control to force vision rebuild him as Ultron 6, a version forged in the invincible metal called adamantium.
Subsequent appearances often saw Ultron evolved several more times.
