The series follows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), billionaire playboy of Starling City, who spends five years stranded on an island following a shipwreck that claims the life of everyone else on board, including his father, Robert Queen (Jamey Sheridan). Upon his return to Starling City, he is reunited with his mother, Moira (Susanna Thompson), her new husband, Walter Steele (Colin Salmon), the then-current CEO of Queen Consolidated; and his younger sister, Thea (Willa Holland). His best friend, Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell), the son of billionaire Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), and ex-girlfriend Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), also greets him. The series also features the introductions of various DC Comics characters, both in present time and flashbacks to the island, many of whom are vying for control of Starling City.

The first season focuses on Oliver reconnecting with people upon his return, and spending his nights hunting down the wealthy responsible for “failing the city” as a hooded vigilante who is not afraid to kill his targets. He becomes at odds with a secret organization that plans to destroy the Glades, a section of the city that has become overridden with crime. John Diggle (David Ramsey), who acts as Oliver’s bodyguard in front of the public, and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), an IT specialist who works at Queen Consolidated, assist Oliver in his crusade. The first season also features flashbacks to Oliver’s time on the island, and how it changed him; this continues in the second season.

In season two, Oliver is driven to stop crime without killing criminals, motivated by the death of his friend Tommy. His newfound ideals are consistently challenged by his enemies however, not least of which by Deathstroke (Manu Bennett), whose vendetta against Oliver thrusts Starling City into chaos and forces him closer to crossing the line between hero and killer. Oliver must also contend with outside forces attempting to take over Queen Consolidated, and continued revelations of his own past, as well as those of his family and friends. In time, Oliver accepts aspiring vigilante Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) as his protégé, and begins to receive assistance from Laurel’s father, Officer Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne).

So, it is the best Super-Hero TV series I’ve ever watch until now. It’s character build up and two-time line story telling is just mind blowing. They sure change lots of stuff from comic books but it stills amaze me how they make it interesting and cool as original. Before this show Green Arrow was just another Super Hero but this show made him main stream and better than ever. And now I’m desperately waiting for season 3.

The Flash

Genres: Super Hero | Action | Adventure | Crime | Drama | Mystery | Sci-Fi

Based On: Characters appearing in DC comics’ The Flash

Developed By: Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns

Run-time: 42 mins

Seasons/Episodes: 1st Season starting this fall

In Arrow season 2 the character named Barry Allen appears, who was from Central City, for helping the Team Arrow and find some answers for his own. The character was in for only 3 episodes so when in the mid-season finale Barry goes home to his home town, there was an experiment going on in the STAR lab particle accelerator but when a storm hit the city an accident happened which blew up the accelerator and charged the clouds with it. Barry was in his lab when a this charged lightning struck him and instantly went into coma and episode ends there.

The Flash TV show continues from there, but obviously nine months have been passed since he is in coma so it will take a jump start. The Pilot episode was premiered yesterday in SDCC and it got the nice reviews. The Arrow will appear in pilot and mid-season finale of both the shows will be a cross-over episode. Where Arrow is in completely serious mood The Flash has some humors elements. We’ll check it out our-self in the month of October when both the shows continues/starts. Oh and before you ask this shows are not in the same universe as the DC Movies so there will be no cross-over of them like Marvel.

A new recruit in Captain Sarah Essen’s Gotham City Police Department, Detective James Gordon is paired with Harvey Bullock to solve one of Gotham’s most high-profile cases ever: the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne. During his investigation, Gordon meets the Waynes’ son, Bruce, now in the care of his butler Alfred, which further compels Gordon to catch the killer. Along the way, Gordon must confront gang boss Fish Mooney, as well as many of Gotham’s future villains, such as Selina Kyle and Oswald Cobblepot. Eventually, Gordon is forced to form an unlikely friendship with Bruce, one that will help shape the boy’s future in becoming the Dark Knight.

the series would have served as a straightforward story of Gordon’s early days on the Gotham City Police force. The idea evolved not only to include the Bruce Wayne character, but will also tell the origin stories of several Batman villains, including the Penguin, the Riddler, Catwoman, Two-Face, the Joker, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Hugo Strange and Harvey Dent. The first season will consist of sixteen episodes.
